Hair Cuts!

We decided to semi-buzz (the longest guard on the clippers) Henry's head. The baby hair on the top hadn't been cut and was getting pretty long. I liked it...but Andrew thought it had to go. He sat on Andrew's lap and Dave did the buzzing...and Henry was awesome! He didn't fuss one bit! I was a little sad to lose that sweet baby hair on top...but he looks like a little boy now, not a baby. Sigh....

Of course, with all the "buzz" around Henry's hair cut, Lily decided she needed one too! So I took her to get a trim. She sat in the chair all by herself and chatted with the hair dresser the entire time. It was adorable. Such a big girl!!

Loungin' on the couch...you can see how short Henry's hair really is in this picture!!

The other day, we were at the park and I told Lily to go find Henry. I heard her wandering around asking the other kids: "Have you seen my Henry?" She adores her little brother...and smothers him with hugs and kisses all the time.

Happy Valentine's Day

We had a fun Valentine's Day at our house...starting with heart shaped pancakes (Lily is completely obsessed with pancakes and wants them every morning...). Lily got a pink rose from her daddy too!

In lieu of going out to eat this year, we made Alaskan King Crab Legs at home...which were fantastic!!! We even waited and ate after the kids were in bed so we could have a nice, quiet, uninterrupted meal.
And what would Valentine's Day be without some heart stickers!!!

Sick, Sick, Sick!

We have had a run of sickness lately and it's getting really old! From Pink Eye to the Flu...you name it, we've had it this winter. Here are my two sickies, cuddling on the couch. :( I could tell Henry felt awful because he doesn't stay still for much.
Lily doesn't take naps very often anymore and I can't help but take pictures of her asleep when she does. She hasn't been feeling well, so I think has needed some extra sleep. She would be awake talking to me and then two seconds later, she had fallen asleep...
I mean...seriously?? My little sleeping princess.
After being cooped up inside all week with flus and fevers; we ventured outdoors. Well, to our indoor mall anyway....and had ice cream cones at 11am! They certainily deserved it. It had been a very long week. This was Henry's first time eating his own cone, and he did pretty well! I was impressed!

Henry Shenanigans!

Henry is always "up to somethin'" these days and it's usually cracking me up! He loves to color at the table with Lily, but I usually find him getting in to her craft supplies and making a mess.

He loves to stand up on the toy chest...and sing? Wonder where he gets that from?? (No, not me or Andrew...)
The shoe obsession is in full swing...

He brought each shoe in to the kitchen, one by one, tried it on and then would go get another. Entertained him for a good 15 minutes too!

One afternoon he took all his toys, again one by one, and put them up on the ottoman. Hmm. I often wonder what is going through his little brain! He doesn't stop for a second!
