Tybee Island and Savannah

The Hayes', Clarkes, Sharps and Grandma (all minus the dad's) went down to Tybee Island and Savannah for a couple of days in the middle of the week. We had such a great time and I'm so glad mom invited us to come too!
I love this picture. Lily adores her "bubby"...and I'd say he's pretty fond of her too! :)

Lily did great at the beach. This is the first time we've been back to the beach since last summer, and she had a great time filling buckets with water and sand and helping me make drip castles.

This picture cracks me up. What goofy kids! They were jumping across the two double beds, being silly.

Lily really wanted to play with the big kids...I'm sure she just got in the way!

Another visit!!

The same weekend our friends Gabe and April were in town, the Sharps arrived in Atlanta for the week. Here are a few pictures from our photo session Sunday night. Adam was going out of town with Dad the rest of the week, so this was the only time we'd see him. We had to document the occasion, of course!

One of these boys looks a little more "squished" than the others...?

Quick visit

Andrew's roommate before we were married, Gabe, and his little family (wife, April and 7 month old Allister) came to visit from Alabama last weekend. They had a lot on their agenda, but were able to squeeze us in for dinner. :) Here is April and I, with our babes.

Lily loved Allister's soft head. She kept wanting to touch it.

Easter Sunday 2009

Sunday after church, the Hayes cousins came over for Easter dinner and another egg hunt. Here is Lily checking out her Easter basket from Meme.

They look so cute when the pout. Not a clue what's up here...maybe she couldn't find any more eggs?

Now here's a good "cheese!"

The three of us...

Lily, with her cousins Ethan, Isobel and Emery

We took a similar picture last Easter with just the girls, but needed another one with Emery this year.

Yes, I know I have a wreath halo...apparently my photographer didn't seem to notice. Oh well. I like the pictures anyway...

Jekyll Island Easter

We went down to Brunswick Easter weekend; it was a short trip since Andrew ended up working until 10pm Friday night, but we had a great time being with family on such a beautiful weekend. Here are some pictures from our short trip to Jekyll Island Saturday afternoon. They had a small Easter egg hunt there, and of course the Easter bunny made an appearance. This was as close as she'd get.

Figuring out how this egg huntin' thing works...

Hunting for more eggs.

Atleast she took out the sucker to say cheese...

Kennewick, WA

OK, I will really try hard to condense this because I have SO MANY cute pictures, but Lily and I had a wonderful time visiting the Smiths!! Andrew was at his annual company meeting, and Lily and I went out to see her newest baby cousin!!
Here's the three amigos having fun! As you will see, many of my pictures are of these three cute girls. Stanford called Lily "laugher girl" cuz she was always giggling! Obviously, she had a blast!!

One of Lily's favorite spots, other than outside, was on top of the bunkbed....much to my dismay! She could climb up by herself, but then would yell for "mommy" because she couldn't get down. Thankfully, the girls would join her occasionally, and play with her for a little while.

Today was "tutu" day! I wish I had a picture of her and Abby both in their tutu's...it was Abby's request, of course!

Lily and Benson.

The famous front porch, where many Smith pictures have been taken. Here with Hannah, Stanford and Abby.

This picture cracks me up. She was quite fascinated by the lawn mower. I found her just sitting here on the front step watching Adam mow the lawn.

The playground in their awesome backyard was definitely a favorite. Between the slide and the swing...she was in heaven!! She also enjoyed the trampoline, when the big kids would be careful and jump lightly. She wasn't as good at jumping as Hannah, who bounces all over the place! She mostly just liked to run around on it and bump in to the net wall. Thank goodness for those things!!

She really thought the rocks were cool!

Lily adored her new cousin Rachel. She always wanted to know where she was, and if she could find her (we would hide her sometimes!!), she would be at her side touching her head or bringing her things like toys or blankets.

I captured a "dream smile"!! What a cute babe!

Lunch time with Hannah!

Sweet Hannah, what more can I say?

Bathtime is so much more fun with company!!

Stoytime with the girls before bed. This night Lily wanted to wear some of Hannah's pajamas...

We had such a great time, and I know Lily already misses her cousins. All of them were so sweet and kind to her; the boys were so helpful with her outside and the girls just played and played. What a fun house! Thanks for letting us come and visit!!!

Our visit to Washington: Stop 1

On out way out to Kennewick, WA to visit the Smith's, Lily and I had a 2 hour layover in Salt Lake. Emily and her two youngest, Amber and Jake, met us at the airport and we went out to lunch. It was a rainy, cold day so we just have a couple of pictures we took in the car before they took us back to the airport. But we were so happy to see them and glad they took the time to drive out and see us!!!
