Biddison's come to our house!

While the Biddison's were in Georgia, Andrew had a work meeting down in Florida.  So I had Em and Allie come and stay with us for a few days while he was gone.  It worked out perfectly!!!
We had a blast while they were here.  Mom came down and dropped them off Thursday.  The kids made cookies with Grandma!

Allie was very sweet with Lily and she LOVED having her here; her favorite part was the slumber parties in her bed!

Henry got an awesome haircut from Emily

I love my awesome sistas!!

Britt and her family came down on Friday.  We had a great time swimming and playing with cousins!!

And of course, a little Ashlynn time...that's Lily and I holding her.  She's smiling and cooing now; sooo cute!

A quick MeMe visit

MeMe came up for a quick visit while Poppa was in Brazil for work.  It was Lily's last day of summer gymnastics!  This is the gym where she has her classes.

She got a 1st place ribbon!!

Doing a few tricks for the camera.  Henry and I have to stay upstairs and watch from the bleachers so it was fun to be on the floor on the last day to take some pictures.

She's going to be in the all 4's class in the fall. I'm excited for her to learn some more advanced things. This class was 3-4 year olds and a lot of the kids were very young. It was mostly just following instructions and getting exposed to the equipment this time around...which is good for her first class, I guess.
We also went to the GA Sports Hall of Fame museum with MeMe.  We got a year membership with a Groupon, so it's a close, fun place to visit in the afternoon's when it's blazing hot outside!  There are footballs to throw, basketballs to shoot, a Nascar to ride in, and other fun things including these Georgia football players!!

Andrew's taught them both the cheer: "Goooo Dawgs!  Sick 'em.  Ruff Ruff!"

We sure love having MeMe here, even if it is only for 24 hours!!

Another day on the lake

Emily and Allie came to Georgia for a week to visit!  It was so fun having them here!!  On Monday, me and the kids went to Peachtree City to play and go on the boat.  Lily was brave enough to ride the tube with her cousins this time!  (I think it was because Allie was there!)

Mika

Henry watching the tubers...  Travis drove very slow, but I could still see Lily mouthing "mommy" with a very worried look on her face.  She didn't last very long, but I was very proud of her for trying.

Our two blondies, watching the big kids.

During "swim breaks", my sweet sister Emily would swim with Henry.  He loved it!

She said he held his feet the entire time he was in the water!

American Idol in Charleston, SC

Some friends and I had a girls weekend in Charleston to go support Amanda in trying out for American Idol.  There was lots of lines, little sleep, and crazy people watching!
Monica Gleaton, me, Emily Elsworth, Maryanne Katzer and Amanda Blasche

Some of the line wating was in the dark...starting at 5am...and it was already hot and extremely muggy.

We finally got to the front of the line...about to go in to the big auditorium

The auditons were crazy and we all feel like Amanda didn't really even have a chance.  Her producer judge hardly even looked at her, she sang for about 15 seconds on the floor of the auditorium along with tons of other people singing at the same time.  We all think Amanda is gorgeous and an amazing singer...se la vi American Idol.

We did have a great time hanging out with the girls and want to do it again sometime without all the American Idol drama.

McDonalds Playland

Henry is finally big enough to play in McDonald's playland without my help!  Yay!!!

GA Aquarium

We went back to the GA Aquarium in Atlanta with our friends Louis and Ethan Piassick.  Always a good time...and nice to be indoors out of the heat!!

Lily layed down in front of the glass at the huge fish tank with the whale sharks in it.  Henry plopped down right next to her.  He wants to do whatever she does!

On the moving walkway under the water... pretty cool!

We went at saw the short little 3D movie there and watching Lily was hilarious!  She rarely goes to a movie, and has never seen anything in 3D.  She was squealing, and jumping and reaching out for things when they came off the screen...I laughed out loud several times.  Very cute.

Our very small Children's Museum has a dress up area.  Here are a few pictures of my goofy kids.

Kaylin's bday and the lake

Kaylin's birthday is on the 4th of July, but she had a family party/Luau on Saturday that we drove over for. Here is a picture of the kiddos with Kaylin's aunt and great aunt (Mika's covered by Bubby).
Lily doing a hawaiian dance for us...
Henry loved his grass skirt!!
After the party, Travis took our family, Kaylin, Bubby and Britt out on their boat on Lake Peachtree. It was a little cloudy and had already downpored earlier in the day, but we decided to chance it anyway.
The lake water was really dark, almost black! Lily was a little nervous but Henry jumped right in with Andrew! He loved it!
Neither of my kids would ride on the tube, but Andrew rode with Kaylin and Bubby for a little while. It was a fun time! Thanks, Travis!!
And of course, a little Ashlynn holding time for Lily...

Funny kids

These are just some random pictures of my kids being goofy. They both have such cute, silly personalities! I'm glad I can capture some of their better moments...

Playing "mommy and daddy"...

Always trying on someone's shoes; usually Lily's...

She dresses herself now...but sometimes it's a little difficult...

Being silly in the swing...

Henry loaded himself up with all of these necklaces...

Keeping Fit!

Andrew always says he wants our kids to see that exercise and physical activity are a big part of our lives...maybe he's taking it a bit too far?? :) They both love doing pull-ups with him in the morning. It's very cute!

Too hot!

Seriously?!?! It is HOT down here!!!

The Zoo!

My mom came with us to the zoo on a very hot, humid day! We got there as soon as it opened...but were hot and sweaty and done by noon. But we had a great time! We saw a bird show...
Look at these scary lions!!!
Posing on a baby elephant statue
At the gorillas. They have a few babies, and some of the older ones were playing with ice. A silver back came up very close too! The gorillas are my favorite!
But, if you ask Lily what her favorite animal at the zoo is, she will tell you the dead Zebra! Although the dead zebra is not real; it's a fake one in the Vulture exhibit where they hide food for them...she simply could not enjoy the zoo until she saw it. Sigh.
