Our first 5K together...with a stroller!

Andrew and I used to run together all the time, but with two kids, it's a little more complicated now. We ran in a local 5K for charity and they allowed strollers, so the whole family got to participate! Here are the kids - ready to go!

After the race.

Our friends, the Gigliotti's, ran with us along with their stroller and two kids too! It was fun!! They had some "kids stuff" after the race; Lily and Gates on the tractor ride

Most kids rode by themselves...but these two wanted to ride together.
Henry was happy to play in a pile of dirt.

5th Wedding Anniversary

Andrew and I have been married for 5 years! Wow! That sounds like a long time...but it's been a fabulous 5 years. We went up to Atlanta and left our kids with my parents so we could go out to dinner, kid free! We went to Murphy's in the Highlands, and were gonna try to catch a movie, but didn't make it in time so got ice cream at Cold Stone (our favorite) and window shopped. It was a great evening. Here are a few pictures we took before we headed out...

Obviously the kids were well taken care of, as usual! It was still hot enough to get the little pool out!

Wanting to get in on the "picture action" of course...

Dancing!

These kids LOVE to dance! Our favorite CD right now is Keith Urban. We dance to him daily and have a lot of fun. These videos just make me smile!

Henry - 13 months

Happy Henry is 13 months old now...and I remember why I love this age so much! He is so content to just walk around the house with something in his hand, checking in every few minutes; no real complaints unless he's tired or hungry. He loves being pushed around on Lily's tricycle; yes...it's pink. Poor guy.

He tolerates his sister's pokes and prods and still adores her regardless. I keep telling her: someday he's gonna be bigger than you!!

My sweet boy!

Happy as can be!

He's a great walker now. His fifth tooth finally came through on the bottom. He's a great eater. Still takes 2 naps during the day and sleeps about 12 hours at night. He loves to play peek-a-boo, is super ticklish, can give sloppy open-mouth kisses and wave bye bye (he open and closes his hand).

Crazy outfits

So as I expected, my three year old has become quite opinionated in what she wears. Sometimes, it's not too bad, like this outfit she put together. Blue shirt, pink pants and yellow flip flops. I can work with that. (she was doing some grand singing performance...)

But, sometimes we get this...oh dear! Yes, those are kitty ears on her head from an old Halloween costume she found in her closet.

Or this....actually her friends Halloween costume she dug out of the closet...

Or just a lot of accessories....

She is definitely quite a character!!!
