Lily, almost ONE!!!!

Eating has become quite an adventure these days. Most of the food ends up on the floor or being used as hair gel in her hair. This afternoon at lunch she stuck a cheese puff in her hair. Nice! I feel like she needs a bath after every meal!!!

We are working on 'handing mommy the food' instead of dropping it on the floor...as I said: we are still working on it! :) Most of it still ends up on the floor...

Dressed up for dinner...one of the few times I put her in a dress. Actually, she was quite ticked at me because she kept getting caught on it when she was crawling or trying to stand up. I thought it was funny, she wasn't very amused. Dresses aren't very "crawl friendly"...

Hanging out with her toys...what a cutie pie!

Monday at the Clarkes

Lily and I went to visit baby Aidrian (and the rest of the Clarkes) on Monday. What a precious little babe....

We also went to the pool; I thought this was a funny picture of Lily sitting in her stroller in her bathingsuit before we got in.

Then all the kids took a bath...Lily LOVES the bath.

New baby Aidrian!

I'll add more pictures later, but I had to stick this one up of cute little Aidrian. My sister Brittany had her baby on Friday, 6lbs 15 oz. She's adorable, healthy, happy and kinda looks like my baby girl with those great cheeks!! What a sweet baby!

Brunswick, GA

We went down to Brunswick for the weekend for my sister-in-law, Chrissy's baby shower. Baby #3 is due July 11th. We also got to visit some of Andrew's friends; Gabe and his wife, April came over from Alabama (also expecting a baby, due in September), and Chuck and his girlfriend Jean came down from NYC. It was fun to get together with old friends and see family.

The Beach!

While we were down in Brunswick, we went to the beach on St. Simons Island. It was a perfect day, not too hot...we all really enjoyed some sun!
One cool babe!!!

Lily is ready for the beach!

She surprisingly kept the hat on! She loved walking in the water, and just walked along giggling; it was very cute.

She of course ate some sand, but did really well playing and crawling around.

Are you sure I can't eat this stuff????

Mother's Day!

My first mother's day was great! We had a nice relaxing morning (after a pretty bad storm which luckily we had no damage from), and the Clarkes and Mom and Dad came over in the afternoon for dinner and homemade ice cream! The weather was gorgeous and we had a great time outside!
Here are some pictures of our day!
Grandma and Grandpa with Lily

The mom's....with Lily....

I'm sure she was smiling at her cousin Ethan in this one. She had just woken up from a nap, and was so excited to see him! She adores him and he is so sweet with her. I don't think I have ever seen her giggle so much as she does when she is with him.

Playing with Ethan...

This little video was so sweet....what cute kids!!

Our trip to Denver

Lily and I went to Denver to visit Jennifer and Gray for a few days. We had a great time! Here's a few pictures of our trip.

Here's Lily cruising around the kitchen table...

Jennifer, me, Lily and Gray

Lily at the park. They just put down new wood chips, and she thought they were awesome! She would've sat here all day if I would have let her!

Swinging with Auntie Gray. Denver has some great parks and we visited several of them!

She was quite intrigued by Gray's cat, Hux (who, by the way, weighs more than her!!!). By the end of the week, she wasn't grabbing quite as much hair and Hux wasn't hiding every time he heard her coming. She would squeal in delight every time she saw him and head straight for him. What a good kitty!

She's walkin'!!

After several attempts to capture it on video, we got one of her walking. She's walking short distances on her own now; infact, today she walked all the way down the hall! So this one is of us in Denver; and lots of squealy girls in the background!! :) We are kind of silly, but you get to see her in action.
