Lily Week 20; Fall has arrived...finally!

It is starting to get a little cooler in GA. Lily and I have been going on walks every day, and today we had to bundle up! She LOVES being out in the stroller. What a cutie!

We went to Macon's little national park and walked around on the trails and enjoyed the beautiful weather. Perfect "t-shirt and jeans" weather. It's great!

Rice Cereal, YUM!

First attempt at rice cereal: 10/14/07 afternoon

Andrew makes the good "airplane" sound effects and she loves it. She opened her mouth wide...and maybe 2 of 10 attempts were actually swallowed...maybe less...

She really didn't get that messy for a first try!

I tried again this morning, without his help, and we got a little messier this time...

2nd Hockey Game

Lily has been to TWO hockey games already!! This one wasn't as fun since her mom forgot the passy in the car. Oops. But, I think she still liked the noise and the lights. We brought our friend Zac and Grandpa this time and I think everyone had a great time (even though we lost...again...)

Zac took this picture from our seats...we were standing a few rows down. Not a bad view!

4 month check up

Lily had her 4 month check up today and she is doing great. She's 14 lbs and 25 1/4 inches long! She was a champ during the shots which made me very happy. She loves eating her feet -- as you can see --and reaches out for everything and tries to stick it in her mouth. We still have constant slobber and her fingers are usually in her mouth if her toes aren't.

Ta da! This is her and Andrew on the bouncy ball. She still likes the ball, but it's not a sure thing anymore.

And here is another shot of her standing up on Andrew's lap...she sure loves this.

The great Pumpkin patch!

Lily and I went to Snellville, GA to visit Jennifer and her family. While we were there we went to a neat pumpkin patch. The weather has been great, not too hot, but the sun was a little too bright for Lily and we couldn't get her to look up for any of the pictures.

Lily sittin' on a big pumpkin (Jen's practically laying on the ground to get this shot!). You can tell Lily is trying to figure out how to get that pumpkin stem in her mouth.

Here's Lily sitting in the straw... now she's got her eyes on the corn!

Jen and Steve's visit

Our friends Jennifer and Steve came to visit this past weekend. We had a great time, and Lily enjoyed all the attention!

Playin' with the babe...

Lily and Jen

4 months/17 weeks

We got a "jumperoo" for Lily recently. It's a bouncing saucer. She's not too sure about it yet, but I think it's just a matter of time before she's bouncing away. We figured since she loves bouncing on the big blue ball, she'd love this bouncing toy. Although she fell asleep in it the other day...hmm. It's so funny how babies can fall asleep anywhere!
It's getting harder to read to Lily lately. She wants to touch the books...and hold them...and eat them...

Here she is sitting up on dad's lap...

...and standing UP on dad's lap. She loves to stand up. Andrew calls her his "rigid baby". Sometimes she stiffins up and just won't bend!

We took her to her first hockey game the other night up in Atlanta. I think she enjoyed it. She stood up on my lap most of the time and looked around. She actually fell asleep during the 3rd period, which is amazing! I forgot how loud hockey games are!!

The Fair!

Lily's ready for the fair! We went to the GA national fair yesterday with Brittany and Kaylin. It was hot and muggy, and we had a little bit of rain, but overall a great time! We saw lots of animals, we found a petting zoo and a circus, Kaylin rode a couple of rides, we walked a lot and we ate lots of food!

Lots of good food!

And quality nap time (yeah right!) I think this one lasted about 15 minutes.

Deep fried twinkies??

What a fabulous dad...he's sportin' the bjorn and the pink diaper bag while I've got Lily

Now that looks good! I said fabulous food already, right??

a really big tractor...

Andrew and Lily. She did great in the bjorn. There was so much stuff to look at, especially once it got dark and all the lights came on! She loved it.
