A Day At The Clarkes

The kids and I went to Peachtree City for the day to hang out with the Clarkes. My car spent the day with Travis. We went to a jump house with Brittany and Mika in the morning and then went out on a golf cart ride and to some parks once the older kids got home from school! It was beautiful weather and a very fun day!

Lily is learning how to swing on the "big" swings!! Bubby was a good sport to push her.
Who me?

Big man enjoying the sun!

We've got waves!

Henry's newest trick: waving! We were actually out on a walk this evening, and he started waving at people. I thought maybe it was just coincidence...but check out this video. He's definitely waving!! And it's a pretty cute wave, I might add.

Easter Party

Our new friends, the Elsworths, had an Easter Party on Saturday and we all had a great time! They had an awesome Easter Egg hunt with tons of eggs and candy! Here's Lily, waiting to start...

Andrew's new hobby

Andrew got his first bike since he was a teenager the other day. He also registered for a sprint Triathalon in Macon this June! Woo Hoo! Lily might be just as excited as Andrew is about his bike. She wants to ride on it all of the time. Thankfully, she has a birthday coming up! :)

Cherry Blossoms!

Our Cherry Blossom Festival in Macon is HUGE!! They bus in all the old folks from all over Georgia to take part in the festivities! Pink blossoms are everywhere! We have been singing "Popcorn Popping" a lot too! :) Anyway, this year, I took the kids down to the festival (we can walk from our house!) in the morning during the week and got Lily an all day ride pass for 20 bucks! Wasn't sure if I'd get my money's worth...but we ended up spending almost 4 hours there! Definitely a good move. She could ride things over and over and over. Phew!
One of Lily's favorite rides: The carousel!

The had Sea Lions there and we watched their little show...sorry, not super impressive, but Lily enjoyed it.

It was a great day to go too! Not too busy so no lines; wonderful sunshine; funnel cakes and ice cream! What more can you ask for?

Two sacked out kids!!

Someone's got the giggles!

Some of you have seen this on facebook, but I wanted it posted on my blog too. Lily and I have been having fun looking back at the video clips from when she was a baby, so I wanted to make sure I have some of Henry on here too. There's just something about watching a video rather than looking at a still picture that really makes you smile!

Uh oh!

We've got some movin' and a shakin' going on down here! Henry has been getting up on his knees and rocking back and forth...a lot! Lily never did this. She didn't crawl until 10 months, and then walked by 11...so this is new territory for us!

I'm always trying to get a cute shot of them together...it seems like the couch is the easiest spot. They never turn out very well though...

Denver Trip

Henry and I had one more trip we had to make; we headed out to Denver to see Jen's new baby, Emma. (Lily went to MeMe and Poppa's for the week, and of course had a blast!) It was so awesome to get our three babes together for the first time. Its so fun to see my friends as Mom's now too!
Here's Henry (7 mos), Roan (6 mos) and Emma (4 weeks)

The Three Amigos!

Henry showing Roan the ropes on sitting up

Me and Miss Emma! So tiny and so sweet! I held her every chance I got!

Sweet baby girl! Looks just like Jen, by the way. ;)

Momma and her babe

Henry also met his first dog, Oakley. She was so great with him...just layed there while he grabbed her fur and ears. What a good girl!

Such a great trip! I sure enjoy the time I get to spend with my good friends!

Out and about!

Having Henry in the umbrella stroller for walks now is great! We take our double stroller when I actually want to get a bit of exercise...because as you can imagine, this method doesn't really get my heart rate up much. We are moving p-r-e-t-t-y slow. But, they both love it, so how can I say no. I got this picture on my phone and had to send it to Andrew's phone so he could email it to me so I could put it on the blog. Phew!

Henry also tried out the swings the other day for the first time. Lily, of course, wanted to "help baby" too.

He doesn't look like he's enjoying himself...but he really was. These were from Andrew's phone, so it's hard to capture the exact picture you want on a phone...but you get the drift. Lily has been such a big helper these days. It's quite nice usually! :)

Henry 7 months

Henry is 7 months old today!!
He is sitting up great, rolling all over the place, and starting to try to get up on his knees!! Yikes! Sleep is getting better. He has been sleeping until around 5 lately, so I am keeping my fingers crossed that that sticks around for a while. He's in a happy place right now and a GREAT baby!

Except, the poor little guy has a pretty bad cold...this is how he has been looking the last couple of days with a runny nose and a cough. Pitiful!

Baby Wendy!

Brittany and I got to go up to Virginia and see our newest niece, Wendy for the weekend! Henry got to come along too (he's still breastfeeding). Here's Henry on his first trip on an airplane! He did awesome!

My sweet, little niece. She is so tiny and light as a feather! Compared to my 20 lb chunk...I could have held her all day long!
Henry was a champ! He was happy, and smiley the whole weekend. Thankfully, Meagan and Chris have tons of baby stuff, so Henry had plenty to do!

Aunties

I love this picture cuz you can see how big Henry is compared to little Wendy...

Getting ready for her photo shoot by Brittany

Henry loved Meagan and Chris too! It was nice that they still wanted to hold my babe even though they had a tiny one of their own now too! I have a video of this, but Henry is gurgling and squealing like crazy. Meagan definitely has a way with babies! It was so cute!

My sweet babe, just chillin' on the floor.
Sweet, little cuddle bug

We had such a great weekend! Thank you, Meagan and Chris, for feeding us, letting us invade your home and steal your baby! :)
