Andrew's 34th Birthday!

But who's counting...right? We were up in Atlanta for Father's day (Andrew had to work so Lily and I went and hung out with Grandma until he was done). Unfortunately, I didn't bring my camera, so we don't have much to document the day, however uneventful it was. But, here are a few pictures from his birthday just a few days later.
I got Andrew some swimming goggles, and Lily loved them too! We might just have to get her a pair of her own!
He is always complaining about my little, wimpy umbrella...so I got him a big golf umbrella that we can ALL fit under!!!

My cake masterpiece! Ha! This is as creative as I get! You'd think that after all the Food Network cake shows I watch, I would be a pro!! Well, it was a bit lopsided, but it tasted yummy!

Andrew's dessert concoction: a cheap, store-bought sugar cookie, ice cream and cake...this was before he smothered it in chocolate sauce!!! Delicious! :)

Happy Birthday babe! You rock my world!!! :)

Morning at the Park

While Gray was visiting, Lily and I stayed up in Atlanta for a couple of days. My mom had Brittany's kids while she was visiting Meagan in England, so we had some fun playing with cousins! One of the mornings we went to the park. I think we were there by 9am.

A much needed water break! The park was great and all the kids had a blast. I think Lily got the "sweat gene" from both Andrew and I. She was definitely the sweatiest of the three...and it was only 10am! But it has been really hot and humid in Georgia...ugh!

Three cute kids waiting for Grandma and Aidrian. Lily wanted to do everything the big kids did. Hmm. I guess that's good...and bad.... :)

Lily also had her first sleep over at Grandmas! While Andrew and I were at dinner with Gray, Lily slept with the "big kids". Mom and I actually moved her out to the end so if she woke up she could find me (I was sleeping in the room right off their bed with the door open). When I got up around 3am to go to the bathroom, she had moved herself back over to the pink pillow next to Kaylin. How cute!!! I didn't hear a peep out of her until 6:30am when I heard her cute little voice say "hi!" Unfortunately, she woke up Kaylin and Ethan, who usually sleep in much later than that. Oops!

Mom got a new little blow-up pool which the kids loved!!! It was a refreshing break from the heat!

Gray's visit to Atlanta

I was so excited that Gray made a visit out to Atlanta before both our babies are born! Gray is 28 weeks and I am 32 weeks. It was fun to see her pregnant since she lives out in Denver now, and pictures just aren't the same. Next time we see eachother, we'll both have new babies!!!

We stopped by to see Gray's uncle Duncan, who was very excited to see "L.J." (as he calls her).
They were very cute dancing and jumping out in his backyard.

32 weeks!

Amazingly, I've been feeling pretty good this week. Don't think this surge of energy will last, but it's been nice. We finally bought a crib, dresser and bedding...so I feel like we got some big stuff accomplished! Maybe I'm in "nesting mode"? Andrew is out camera shopping right now since our current camera is on it's very last leg...so things are falling in to place; getting ready for this little guy to arrive!! Here are some fun pictures we took this morning. Yes, Lily is "anti-clothes" right now. But atleast she keeps the diaper on...for now...

I often wonder how comfortable it is to be carried by me these days...I always have to hike her leg up over the belly...

Big cheese for Dad!

I know Lily doesn't fully understand that a baby is going to come out of this huge bulge under my shirt...but she does randomly point to it and say "baby" and lifts up my shirt to say hi. Boy, is she in for a big surprise!!!!!

Lily is 2!!!

So on Lily's actual birthday, the 8th, Andrew and I sang her happy birthday and had her open her gifts from us. She was feeling much better and we even got a few smiles! Definitely not the most memorable birthday, but thankfully she won't remember it anyway. :)

A new baby and carrier

I can't believe my baby is 2! She is such a friendly, affectionate, helpful and curious little girl. She says hi to everyone and has such an adorable, loveable personality. She still isn't talking much, but has gestures for everything! She's fearless at the park and is getting braver in the pool. She loves to chew gum and wear chapstick and necklaces. She looooves babies, and I know she's going to be a great little helper when her baby brother arrives.

Birthday party bust!

We had to cancel Lily's birthday party on Saturday because she got croup! I have no idea how or where she got it, but she was pretty miserable. We already had the cake, so we went ahead and had her little neighbor friends Eliza and Grant come over (who had already been exposed anyway) and our friend Autumn stopped by while in town. She cried when we sang "Happy Birthday", so either we sounded awful, or she just felt awful. Poor thing. Here are a few pictures from Saturday and her ice cream cake.

This is how she spent most of the day...curled up on the couch...feeling lousy!
