Christmas 2010

Christmas had already come and gone! We had a great Christmas season with a very excited 3 year old in our home. Every morning, her jobs were to turn the berry on my advent wreath, put a sticker on her advent tree from preschool, check the water in the Christmas tree and find our Elf, Bob. And every day she would exclaim: It's almost Christmas! I'm so excited!
Our Elf brought us all Christmas jammies on Christmas Eve before he headed back to the North Pole!

I failed miserably at taking pictures of the Christmas festivities trying to contain a frantic 3 year old tearing through her presents...But here's an after shot!

After presents and breakfast at our house, we headed up to my parents in Atlanta for the rest of the day. Brittany and her family were there for a little while too. We are so lucky to have family around during the holidays!

It started snowing in Atlanta...all the kids exclaimed it was a Christmas miracle!
Lily was lovin' the snow. It was so cold and so wet...I had to drag her back inside after her fleece gloves were soaked! Georgians aren't really prepared for snow.

The GA Aquarium

We went to the GA Aquarium with our friends, Louis and Ethan. We had a great time! It was prefect museum conditions: not crowded at all!! Here we are in the moving tunnel....

Louis, showing Lily and Ethan the stingrays! Lily looks a lot braver than she was. She wouldn't touch one...just the water.

Denver friends come to Macon!

Over the Thanksgiving holiday, Gray and Jen were both in town visiting family in Atlanta. Gray and her daughter Roan came and stayed with us for a few days, and Jen, Steve and their daughter Emma came down for an afternoon to play. I absolutely LOVE this picture. Me and my two best girls with our babes. My, how things have changed since nursing school!
Jen, Me and Gray. It is so fun seeing my friends as mommies now. They both live in Denver, so I don't get to see them nearly enough...

The best shot we could get of our kids....Roan, Henry, Lily and Emma

Roan and Henry; Henry is only 1 month older than Roan but you can even tell in this picture how much bigger he is. She's petite and Henry's a tank!

Goofing around...

Some more random pictures I just downloaded off my camera...
Goofball. No more really needs to be said. :)

Lily LOVES taking pictures...and I like it too! I get some fun pictures with my little man.

Another one, courtesy of Lily...
He looks so grown up in this one!

New favorite activity: Playing in Henry's crib. I fought it for a while...but I can get a lot done while they are cooped up in there! :)

Although she can get in and out herself....

She likes taking the pictures a lot more than she likes to be in them. But I still have to get 'em when I can. Silly girl.

Random pics from my iphone

I downloaded the pictures I've taken from my iphone recently and here are just a few to show what we've been up to lately. With the cooler weather, finally, we are hittin' the park a LOT! My little climber thinks he can climb up everything...

And so does Lily...
Lily's school Halloween festival was a Noah's Ark theme. They asked all the kids to come dressed as an animal. Lily was a black kitty, and Henry wore his lion costume. She was so excited to see her little brother...

Henry got one of the worst goose eggs I have ever seen! I didn't even see what happened, just hear the scream. I thought it was going to burst! Needless to say, he had a monster bruise for days after...poor little guy.

We went to a small animal rescue place called Noah's Ark in Locust Grove, GA with our friends, the Gigliotti's. Here is the best picture we managed to get of Lily and Gates.

Cuddling on the couch with my kiddos.

Big boy in his carseat.

Crazy hair day at school.

Sittin' on the rocking chairs on our front porch.

My cute hubby....how can you not smile at this sweet face. :)

Halloween 2010

This year for Halloween we decided to try "Ridge", the popular trick-or-treat neighborhood in Macon, with some friends. Trick-or-treating was also on Saturday this year, because Halloween was actually Sunday but Macon decided to celebrate it on Saturday.

Lily (a fairy), and her friend Gates (the fireman)

Henry, the Lion

the fairy...

All the kids' feet started hurting after a while and they all ended up on daddy's shoulders. Lily and Andrew with Gates and Chris.
This was toward the end of the night so the passy was in...he was DONE! But, I managed to get a good picture. He's such a sweet boy.

My cute fam. I love this pic.

Lily's first slumber party

Lily and Memphis Blasche had their first slumber party! She didn't come over until about 4:30, but we soon left for pizza and then played at the park. Came home for baths and a little TV watching. Bedtime was at 8 and they giggled until around 9pm. This is a picture of them after they woke up at 6:45am...they both look a bit tired still....

Pancakes for breakfast!
Some "arts and crafts"

Heading home.

I wish all slumber parties would stay this easy! We'll take Memphis any day! I know they will get wilder as they get older....but we had a great time with Memphis "staying all night long", as Lily said.

Lily's week with CoCo

CoCo is the "mascot" for Lily's preschool class. Every week, a kid gets to bring home CoCo and is suppose to take pictures with them during that week and make a scrapbook page for the class scrapbook. Here are our pictures from our week with CoCo the Toucan!
