Lily shots

Showing off her goose egg, the first of MANY! I don't know if you can see it very well up there on her forehead; now that she's trying to walk and is crawling pretty well, she's crashing and bumping in to everything. I don't think the hardwood floors help either...
She walked a few steps on her own over the weekend, several times actually! It won't be long now!!!

Checking me out while we are strolling...

My attempt at making her look "girly". The bow didn't really stay in very well, and the shoes didn't stay on long, but she does have her favorite toy: my keys!

Here's a good "teeth" shot. She actually has her top two front ones too, but those never seem to show...

Lily's new trick!

Andrew taught Lily this new trick...pretty cute! :)

What's up with that hair?

Lily still doesn't have very much hair, but it's starting to get pretty long on the top. I couldn't resist the mohawk shot after her bath. Too funny.

Lily's finally crawling!

I finally got it on camera. She started crawling last week, but don't let her fool ya! Below is still her favorite mode of transportation. :)

Sharp's visit, day 2

The second day with the Sharp's we went to Peachtree City/Newnan to Brittany's house. We had lunch at a neat park and then went to a creek to splash around.

Lily's first slide (with Makenzie and Karinn supervising from the top!) She really liked it and kept walking back to it to go down again.

Super cousin, Makenzie!

Uncle Adam and Karinn played with Lily in the water at the creek. The water was actually really cold, but the rocks were slippery and Adam already wiped out, so his bum was already wet!

Lily loved the water! She had such a great time splashing around with her uncle! We can't wait for the beach this summer!! :)

Sharp cousin's visit!

The Sharp's came down for Spring break from Connecticut and we had a great time! Wednesday they came down to Macon and we went to our tiny Children's museum. It actually worked out great; we were the only ones there so we had the place to ourselves!

Walkin' around with Aunt Sarena; stopping to talk to Grandma

Walkin' around with her cousin, Trevor. She'd walk with anyone who would offer a hand, and lucky for her, Trevor and Makenzie often did! All the cousins were so great with her and she had such a good time with them.

Lily, 10 months

Lily is climbing up on everything now; here she is standing at her little booster chair, waving of course. She waves at everyone and everything; it's very cute. She is starting to dance to music... she gives great, sloppy kisses...her two front top teeth are coming in...she says "mama" and "dada", but not on purpose yet...her armpits are ticklish...she loves green beans...she's almost crawling...
She's such a cute, happy baby!!

She loves water, as I know all kids do. I stuck her in the sink and she thought it was the funnest thing ever! Thankfully, she didn't figure out how to turn the water on! (Notice both doting parents in the reflection...)

Uh oh, already a diet coke fan! : ) The can was actually pretty fun to play with, and it made great noises when dropped on the ground.

She didn't keep this hat on long, but I thought this was a funny shot. She loves to take hats on and off of us and herself. How do you get kids to keep them on??

Here she is walking with her car. It's pretty cool. She walks between the wheels and it makes all sorts of sounds and sings songs. She can't really control the direction yet, and rams in to the walls, but it gives us a break every once in a while.

This is Lily's friend, Monkey (no, not me...the stuffed animal! :) She carries him around everywhere, always by the tail, and it has actually curbed the hair pulling!! Yeah Monkey!! And as my mom can attest, it really did calm her when we were at the Dr. office a couple weeks ago.

I thought this was too cute. Daddy and 'Lil walking down the hall. She's a "one-hand walker" now, she won't even hold your other hand anymore...too many things to touch and grab along the way! She usually is carrying something in her other hand; her monkey, a shoe...whatever...
