We DO do things!!

My brother says it looks like we never DO anything...so here's some pictures of an outing. Lily and I went to Newnan to visit the Clarkes yesterday and went swimming and out to dinner. Britt also took Lily's 1 year pictures...which are coming soon, I hope. Here's a few goofy pictures at dinner...

Lily loves to put everything on her head....towels...hats...clothes.... She's got a shirt on her head, although it kinda looks like a cowboy hat! She'll walk around until it falls off...maybe she thinks I can't see her?!!

She loves wearing my sunglasses, and fortunately one of our friends got her some of her own for her birthday. They velcro in the back so they stay on pretty well... If you enlarge the picture, you can see her eyes are open big and wide!!

And here she is texting Andrew! Just kidding. She loves my phone too and pushes all the buttons to hear them beep. She'll probably text the police someday I'm sure... :)

Birthday boy!

June is a busy month for Birthdays in our family! Today was Andrew's b-day. He unfortunately had to work, but it wasn't too bad of a day. He got home at a reasonable time anyway. He got to open some gifts and then we went out to a terrific dinner while our friends Zac and Autumn watched Lily.

Well, I feel bad that my sisters took such great pictures of their wonderful Father's days (Happy Father's day to all the fathers out there, although I'm not sure too many of them are actually viewing my blog...), but anyway, here is the only picture we took on Father's day! Ha! Lily was not feeling well and in a horrible mood, so this is the best we got! Andrew had a great day, I hope! I cooked some of his favorite food and let him relax as much as possible...

I tried putting Lily's hair in a little "bam bam" pony tail thing, as Tami calls it. She looks so pleased, doesn't she? Poor girl still doesn't have any hair! But, she's got lots of teeth! Her molars are coming in, and the teeth next to the front two on top are about to come through! Orajel is our friend!

Lily is in to shoes right now. She always wants me to put hers on. She brings them up to me and sticks her foot out! As you can see, she has two different ones on, but those are the ones she picked out! So funny. She has been so dang cute lately. Her little personality is really funny, she's always making funny faces or silly noises. She cracks me up.

Ooooooh, Timmy!

Some of you may already know of my long standing obsession with "Timmy" (better known as Tim McGraw). But it's true. I've been a fan since the beginning and have had the chance to see him several times in concert over the years. Well...my amazing husband got me tickets to his latest tour for Mother's day and we were in the 6th ROW!!! Yes, I said SIXTH!!!!! Of the many times I've seen "my Timmy", I have NEVER been able to be this close, and it was awesome. Meagan, I wish you had been there with me...I had to keep my "oh, he's so hot" comments to myself as I didnt think my husband would have shared my sentiments! :) Anyway, Just had to post some pictures of the hottie and thank my hubby for taking me! It was a great night!

Lily's First Birthday Party!!

Saturday we had a little birthday party for Lily, who turned 1!!! Wow!! I cannot believe it. We had family and some friends over to celebrate. Lily was not in the best of moods, of course, but we all had a great time anyway!

We spend a lot of time out on our top porch; it is covered and has fans!! It has been so hot here lately...and it's only the beginning of June. Anyway, Lily figured out how to 'ride' on her little car. I think she looks so cute scootin' along!
