Cherry Blossom Festival

Andrew's parents came up to visit this weekend. It was also Macon's Cherry Blossom Festival...Everything is decorated with PINK!!! There are tons of things going on all weekend, so we had a great time. At Central City Park, they have a small fair with rides, fair food and entertainment. We spent the afternoon there, went to a playground, and then listened to some live music on Coleman Hill around the corner from our house.

As you can see....She loved the Carousel...practically had to pry her off!

She saw an older boy go down the slide like this, so of course, she had to try it too....

She got to decorate her own cookie pink!

And look at the big turtle with Meme.

They also had Sealions there (last year they had Tigers) who do shows throughout the day.

It was great weather and we had a wonderful time with Meme and Poppa!

Storytime

My friend Wendy and I took our kids (her little boy, Gates, is 1 week older than Lily) to storytime at Barnes and Noble this morning. Instead of sitting nicely on the benches, this is how Lily does storytime! No, actually, she sat on the bench for the first book, but she's done with her snack by the second book and is up walking around. Thankfully, she's not the only one!

Clifford was there today, so that was very exciting...until we got up to him and she wouldn't go near him!!! She liked to wave and say hi from a distance, which is what I figured she'd do. Gates loved him and wasn't shy at all!!

Lily preferred the trains on the other end. She says "choo choo"!

Say Cheese!!!

Lily is working on saying "cheese" for the camera. I guess all kids go through this funny, cheesy smile phase. Guess it will be a while before I'll get a genuine, natural smile again, huh? Oh well. It's still pretty cute.

She still loves riding her little horsey that Grandma got her for Christmas. She's also really in to "play food" so she often feeds him too....

It's a....

...BOY!! Most of you who view my blog already know, but we found out yesterday that we are having a baby boy! Everything looks good, all body parts are where they should be, so we are very happy! Due date is still August 8th. Now we just have to try to figure out a boy name and start shopping for BLUE!!! :)

What the....snow?

So we are sitting around on a Sunday afternoon and I hear Andrew say: "No way! It's snowing!" WHAT??? We look outside, and this is what we see!!

So my mom convinces me to bundle up Lily (we don't have many "bundling-up clothes" mind you...we live in Georgia!!) and take her outside to see the snow! Who knows when this will ever happen again, right? It's not a lot, and it's not sticking to the roads, thank goodness, but it's still going several hours later!
