The Giant Play Pen

Our front top porch is one of Lily's favorite places. She loves to watch the cars or people go by, point at the birds, play with the toys...she really enjoys it out there. And like Tami said, it's like a great big play pen!

If you ask her "Do you want to go outside?", she flaps her arms excitedly and heads for the door! I can tell she's really starting to understand things now, like simple directions or commands. She knows: outside, upstairs, Let's Go!, put this in the garbage, up, down, go get daddy, give it to mommy...stuff like that.

This shot looks so funny to me...like she's saying: OK, mom, I'll stand here and be good. Notice her Monkey...always held by the tail. She rubs the tip of the tail on her face and hands when she's tired. Some of you know that I do a similar thing with corners...can that be hereditary?!?

I love it that she rubs the tail of that monkey! Definitely hereditary! She is such a cutie. I have a play pen deck like that but ours faces the sun during the day so we don't spend much time out there. Your's looks great!
