Lily Week 16 -- Time flies when you're having fun!

Lily likes to roll on to her side when she's on the floor. With a little nudge she'll roll all the way over, but really isn't interested in rolling around too much yet.

She's also found her fingers, not just her whole fist anymore

I think she likes the "thumb finger" combo best so far

She's also discovered her feet! She'll grab on to them now and sometimes manages to get them to her mouth

Sitting up on Dad...she's getting a lot stronger and can hold her head up much better now

I don't know if you can see the line of drool coming out of her mouth in this one...it seems she's either drooling or blowing bubbles now-a-days. The mouth is always wide open and this girl's got a lot of spit! Andrew's been trying to teach her to swallow! She's not catching on just yet. :)

Gabe's wedding

Andrew's friend Gabe got married this last weekend in Jasper, Alabama. We had a great time, and Lily was on her best behavior! Everyone was commenting on what a good baby she was! Here's Gabe and April, officially a married couple!

The grooms cake was Darth Vader. Gabe is a big Star Wars fan. They had some action figures around the cake too...and they cut the cake with a sword!

Lily Week 15

Getting better at tummy time...

...and the bumbo.

Lily has turned over from tummy to back three times now..but who's counting, right? :) She slept 8 hours last night!! What a dream. I shouldn't say that too loudly though...don't want to jinx it! She loves to prop on my hip facing out as I walk around, and she likes to be in the kitchen when I am. I've been putting her in the swing while I make dinner and she's happy as can be...as long as she can see me. She's still a momma's girl. She loves sucking on her fists, and she's figuring out that if she sticks just a couple fingers in there, she can make herself gag! Ha! She also loves bath time, being outside, and reading books. It's so fun discovering what makes this little girl tick.

Lily Week 14

We went on a walk this morning, the weather was great! Lily had a blast in the bjorn. She's able to face forward now, although her head wobbles a little still. But I think she likes looking around much better!

We went up to Grandma and Grandpa Sharps yesterday. Here is Andrew, Lily, Ethan and Kaylin watching football (well, I think Andrew was the only one watching...)

Lily's gettin' the hang of the bumbo seat. If I give her a toy to hold on to, she seems to do better...

...Although her fist tastes much better than a toy! She's reaching out for things now, but doesn't quite know what to do when she gets them. Most things head towards her mouth, but usually her fist is the only thing that makes it there. And she's a drooler! Slobber everywhere! On her hands, down her front, all over my shirt...

She likes to sit up (well, be propped up) and look around. She eventually crumples over...

...or finds her fingers again. This time she's "double fistin" it!

Lily Week 13

Lily's first attempt at sitting in the bumbo. She's still a bit wobbly, and didn't really like it too much. We'll keep trying!

Wrapped up in her ducky towel after her bath. She rolled over from her tummy to her back tonight for the first time!
