Crawling, sand and strawberries!

Henry is 8 1/2 months now...and sooo close to crawling. I've been trying to capture it on video, but the ones I have so far aren't quiet "blog worthy"...so I'll post one as soon as I get a good one. WATCH OUT!

Lily's absolute favorite thing to do right now...

We found a park that has big sand areas and we bring our beach toys and go to town! She could stay there all day, I think. There is some grass there too...so here's Henry enjoying the beautiful day. Don't worry; he actually has a couple of blue sippy cups...he was just playing with Lily's. :)

Andrew has been out of town at a work meeting, so my dad came down for the afternoon on Saturday to hang out with us. He came to the sandy park with us too! Lily sure loved having "Pa" around...all I heard all afternoon was: "Pa, help me!!"

We also picked some strawberries this weekend at Elliott Farms. They were delicious!!! Although the best part about picking strawberries is actually the homemade strawberry ice cream you get there. It is amazing!

So that's what we've been up to lately. Henry also only wants to feed himself finger foods right now --has no time for baby food! His two bottom teeth have broken through and he is starting to try to pull up on to our play piano and other large toys. We were at our friends house tonight and he sat on their toy truck like a champ and was happy as can be! He is completely weaned to the bottle and sleeping through the night (7:30pm to 7am) finally! Oh, and PS: Lily has pretty much mastered potty training. She is wearing panties now, and we haven't had an accident for several days!

How fun! I am jealous that you got to have Dad over for dinner and those fresh strawberries look awesome! That is really cute that Lily is loving the sand so much. Our kids are going to have so much fun at the beach together! There is a huge area of dirt by Stanford's baseball games and my girls always ask, "mom can we go play in that sand box?" It looks like you guys have been having fun!
