Henry's haircut

I took Henry to the girl who cuts my hair for his haircut.  Kristi did an awesome job and Henry was great, sat in the chair by himself and held so still!  What a champ!

Sleepy kids!

We went to a birthday party for Lily's friend at Lake Jackson, about 45 minutes away.  We stayed through nap time, so of course both kids passed out on the way home and continued sleeping after we brought them in to the house.  They were exhausted! 

Trip to Denver

I took a solo trip to Denver to see Gray and Jen's baby boys!  Gray's baby Wyatt is on the right.  He was 8 weeks old.  Jen's baby, Charlie, was 4 weeks old.  My kiddos went to MeMe and Poppa's and Andrew stayed behind to hold down the fort!  It was a wonderful visit with my sweet friends getting to be the "auntie" this time.  Just lovin' on some babies and playing with the 2 year olds.

I sure loved snuggling with the babies!  And Emma is a snuggle bug too.  She would just crawl up in my lap and hug or kiss me.  So cute!

Valentine's Day!

Our morning started with our traditional Valentine's breakfast! 

Both kids had school today, so wore their "love" shirts.  Lily got her tshirt from school; VBC is Vineville Baptist Church.

Considering Lily loves art projects so much, I decided to make homemade cards for her class.  I found this idea online and it was pretty simple.  She wrote her classmate's names on the back of the heart and I wrote Love Lily on the leaves.  They turned out really cute!

All boy!

At another birthday party, Henry found this super hero mask and nerf gun.  He was running around pretending to "squirt" everyone.  It was actually really cute.  I have no idea where they learn this stuff...I think boys are just born this way.  Thankfully, when he started getting interested in guns, it was over the summer and we had water guns which he called "squirters".  Now he calls all guns squirters and he squirts everyone.  Love it!

 

Our first movie night!

Henry has finally become interested in TV so we attempted our first movie night!!  It was lots of fun.  We watched Lion King and had popcorn.  Fun times!!

Bowling!!

Our friends Chandler and Cason Katzer had their birthday party at a bowling alley!  It was the kids' first time bowling!  They had a blast!!

Henry hung out here most of the time, whether it was his turn or not.  He loved the bowling balls!

Lily's hair cut

Lily wanted to get her hair cut, so we agreed to get it cut to her shoulders.  It's only hair right?  She of course, chatted with the stylist the entire time...

It ended up a little shorter than I was hoping for, but she loves it and that's all that matters!  I was suprised how sad I was when they chopped it all off! 

My sweet girl.  I actually think she looks a little like me here!  Shocker, I know!! Maybe this will get us out of the "pony tail every day" phase!
