Ducks and horses

Went to feed the very well fed ducks at Wesleyan College this afternoon. 

And visited their horse stables.  They had a horse there named Henry!!

The zoo!

Stayed up in Atlanta Sunday night and went to the zoo Monday morning (Lily had no school).  Perfect day for the zoo; cooler weather finally and NO crowds!!  It was awesome.

One of the main reasons we needed to go was there is a new baby giraffe and they named her Lily!!!

Why is it, though, that they love the carousel and train more than the animals!?!  And these aren't free!!  Sigh...

 They also have a pretty cool playground where we spent a bit of time too. 

Sand park

Up in Atlanta for a concert and stopped at a park near m&d's to get some wiggles out. Not very wiggly, but they had a great time playing in the sand together.

Poor Bubby!!

Lily is really interested in learning sign language...no idea...I just go with it sometimes. Anyway, her favorite is "I love you". When she heard about her cousin Ethan breaking his arm, she wanted me to send him this picture...

Performers!

Afternoon walks are back!

It's finally cooling down a bit in Macon! Yay!  We can go on walks and bike rides again!  We went on a bike ride on the trail near our house and stopped at the Otis Redding statue near the river.  (He's from Macon, by the way)

 Lily has a baby seat on the back of her bike, and she brought her new cabbage patch baby from MeMe and Poppa with her on our ride.

 We can go to parks again too!  The equipment isn't burning up anymore!!  I sure love these guys!!

Labor Day Road Race

We ran in a 5K road race with our friends, the Elsworths and Dave Berchell.  Here are the boys at the starting line.

It must be noted that Andrew pushed our kids in our stroller.
