He's walking!!!

So Henry's been standing independently, taking a step here and there...but check out what he did tonight! He certainily isn't a "walker" yet, by any means, but I don't think it will be long. He loves to try and gets very excited.

Hayes/Bennett Reunion

This was the first year of the Hayes/Bennett family reunion! We went to Carolina Beach, NC for a week of fun in the sun! Might sound familiar...Andrew and I were married on Carolina Beach almost 5 years ago. In fact, we stayed right across the street from the house my family stayed in the week of our wedding! Here we are...2 kids and almost 5 years later in the very spot we were married. How cool!

Lily looooves the sand. She would sit and dig in it all day long. She was a little nervous of the water, but I got her to go out and jump some waves with me once. It was fun.

Henry loved the beach...and apparently the sand, too! He would crawl around, pick up shells, try to eat them, then throw them! He had a great time! Not a big pool fan, but loved the beach.

This was his favorite spot; right where the waves came up.

We all went to Wilmington for dinner one night and then walked to ice cream. Lily loves her MeMe and Poppa! Andrew asked me once if he thought we were "hogging MeMe?!"

Lily had a great time with her cousin, Isobel. She calls her "Ib-a-zer". We tried all week to get her to say it right, but by the end of the week, everyone was calling her Ibazer too! :)

Henry will seriously push anything he can! This week it was Barron, in his walker. Although he did a fine job getting around himself; Henry offered help whenever he could.

What a great week! It was fun to spend some time with Andrew's family and get to know them all better. The kids had a blast playing in the sand and exploring Carolina Beach.

Playdate with the Blasches!

Lily's cute friends Harlee and Memphis came over one morning for a fun playdate! They immediately wanted to dress up....of course!

Lily really gets in to talking on the phone. She has pretty long conversations with various people, mostly saying "uh huh, uh huh". It's very cute.

Andrew's second Triathlon

Andrew completed his second Sprint Triathlon this summer; this time he had some friends doing it with him.

GO DAD GO! I love this! Lily and I made the sign...somehow Henry ended up with it.

It was nice because Cindy (one of the other racers) had her husband there to support her. Not only did he take some pictures of Andrew for me, but he sat with Henry while Lily and I used the Porta-Potty!! Here's Andrew heading back from the bike ride.
