A crazy day at Mom's

Britt and I met up at mom's yesterday. She had all her Christmas decorations up already since she's going to be at Tami's for Thanksgiving. We got the girls matching tutu's (mom had to make them "skinnier" for all three girls!) and we had to take some fun pictures in front of her pretty Christmas tree!

Ethan felt very left out of the "girl picture", so he continually ran in front of the camera. Here's the little stinker in action! He sort of looks like Spiderman!!

Random pictures

I have a bunch of random pictures from the last couple of weeks to post that don't really go together...so this is just one big random blog. This first picture is on our way up to my parents house. She thinks it's really funny when she puts her monkey on her head. She also wanted to wear her hood all day. What is it with her and putting things on her head?

She really liked riding the bike with Grandpa. She probably would have stayed up there all afternoon if Grandpa didn't have more important things to do!

She is REALLY in to coloring right now...would do it all day long if I had the patience for it. It's not a very calm activity, as some of you might think at first. We are still working on not writing on the table, your body, the walls, etc; so she needs pretty close supervision.

Concentrating on the masterpiece! It amazes me how she figured out the right way to hold the crayon, will only write with the right end of the crayon, leans over like she's all serious and stuff...it's very cute!

She is also in to her stroller and babies. She puts her baby and favorite animals in the stoller, rolls them around a bit, moves them in to different positions, and rolls them around some more. Here she is trying to put a burp rag (ie: blanket) on her babies...

We were outside this afternoon picking up some leaves...I tried to get some cute "fall leaf pictures"...but it just wasn't happening. This is the best I got.

Big girl pig tails!

Gosh, she looks like a big girl here, doesn't she? She likes to slide down the bannister and then sit or stand at the bottom and jump to us. Such a cutie pie! I tried two pig tails today...I think they look pretty stinkin' cute!

Family visit

We went down to Brunswick, GA for the halloween weekend to see family. Here is Lily with her Meme and cousin Isobel. Isobel makes Lily giggle and is very sweet with her.

Lily loves her new cousin, Emery too! She wanted to do everything she did...like lay on the blanket...

And help feed her...she was really "in to" the baby this time, and was pretty sweet with her for the most part; always under the watchful eye of Emery's big sister, of course!

Lily and I met Grandmother Hayes, who was visiting with Aunt Judy from Texas. She's the only grandparent left on either side for us. It was fun to spend time with her.

Halloween in Brunswick, GA

Lily had an "evolving" halloween costume this year. She started as a "dead cat", but the ears just didn't stay on, so she became just a "skeleton". She was a big hit though, besides being called a boy all night long...Oh well. She LOVED trick-or-treating! After watching the other kids, she started carrying her own pumpkin bucket and walking...well, running right up to the houses and holding it out for candy! She had no idea what she was getting, but she had a blast!!

Pumpkin carving

Well, we finally got our pumpkins carved (well, two out of three, actually). Here are a few pics of the event.

Lily was not too sure about the pumpkin. She wouldn't put her hand in it, and would NOT touch the guts! Maybe next year. She did like playing peek-a-boo with it, and feeding it food too!

So I lost my motivation to do my pumpkin after carving hers and picking out the all seeds to cook. So mine is still sitting on the kitchen table, uncarved. But, here are Lily and Andrew with their pumpkins.

We don't use "templates" so this is as good as our imagination gets us!!
