Oliver turns ONE!

Oliver is one!  How did that happen so quickly?!?  He weighs 22 lbs and is 32 inches tall.  He's walking, climbing, throwing, screaming...yep.  Another boy.  He has 6 teeth.  He loves his "lamby" (which is actually a frog) and paci, just like Henry did.  He loves all stuffed animals too.  He says dada, uh oh, points at everything, loves to lay on you if you are on the floor, and likes to mess up whatever Lily and Henry are doing!  He sure keeps me on my toes!!

We've got a roller

Oliver rolls on to his tummy almost immediately after I put him on his back. He often then gets frustrated and yells at me. I flip him over and he immediately does it again. He's also started sticking his bum up in the air. I hope he doesn't think he's going to crawl soon!

Oliver 4 months

4 months old already!  wow, that went by quick.  Here are a few things that Oliver is up to.
He loves sucking on his hands and feet

Tummy time is getting better...

Brother and sister LOVE to hold him...

And he is ALL smiles!

4 month stats: 16 lbs, 26 inches long, 17 inch head.  He is sleeping 7-8 hours at night.  We put him to bed around 7:30.  I feed him at 10 before I go to bed, and he wakes up between 5-6am, I feed him, then he goes back down for another hour or two.  Not too shabby!  He is rarely fussy.  Still does not like the carseat.  Coos and squeals like his brother did.  And is starting to drool...like his brother still does!  :)

Oliver's First pictures!

The Clarkes came today to see baby Oliver and Brittany took some pictures for me.  His jaundice is really bad, so we had to make them black and white.  :/

Bilirubin kept going up so we had to make several trips to the dr to have it checked.  He was poked 4 times before it finally started going down.  Poor little buddy.  :(

Half Iron Man/Relay day!!

Big day today!  Some of the Sharps, Clarkes and Hayes' participated in a half iron man today in Columbus, GA!  Adam and Andrew did the whole thing (1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike, 13.1 milke run) and we had two relay teams.  Team 1: Sarena (swam and biked) and Travis (ran), and Team 2: Makenzie (swam), Trevor (biked) and me (I ran).  The racers went down to Columbus Friday afternoon and stayed the night.  This was an early morning pic, about 6am, heading to the start...

The racers!!!  Woo Hoo!!!

My relay team!

Andrew, about to swim.  He is third from the right in the back row...

Andrew coming in off the bike...

Andrew and I running.  I was so relieved when Andrew and Trevor came in from the bike around the same time so Andrew waited for me to start running.  (Andrew had the latest start time because of his age bracket so he was the last to enter the water...) I was pretty nervous about running the half by myself...so it definitely worked out in my favor!!  Thanks, babe, for running with me!  I seriously could not have done it with out you!

At the finish line!

Britt took these next two pictures of my kids and I thought they were adorable...

Our fam!  Glad it is over!! :)

I completed my half marathon in 2:27.  Made it under my goal of 2:30.  Andrew did his half iron in 6:24.  (That is his birthday, by the way....Crazy!!!)

Wetsuit!

Andrew got a wetsuit for his half iron man coming up this weekend.  He went and tried it out in our neighbor's pool.  He said he felt like he was floating!  Guess that's a good thing...  ??

The Zoo...again

We stayed up at mom and dad's and met the Moore's at the zoo, who were in Atlanta visiting Jen's family over Easter weekend.  We sure have enjoyed our zoo membership this year!!

Henry, Emma and Lily (Emma turned 2 in February)

Little Charlie.  Not a very good picture, but he sure is a sweet little guy.  Lily, of course, adored him and was all over him most of the time!

 Rides on the carousel!

And the train!  Getting a good picture of these three was impossible!  Emma does NOT like the camera...and well, my two are hit or miss.

So glad we got a chance to see them!  We sure love the Moore's!

Easter Sunday

Easter Sunday was busy for us!  Andrew was in a small choir at our church, so it was just me and the kids in the morning.  This was on our way to church...
A picture of Andrew in the choir...

Our church took free professional pictures of families as an Easter gift.

After lunch, we headed up to Grandma and Grandpa's for dinner!  A fun, busy day!  Happy Easter!!

Easter celebration at preschool!

Easter celebrations at school this year were not quite as expected.  Early this morning, it was misty and cold!  They moved the 2 year old egg hunt inside!

Henry's class!  (This is both the Tues/Thurs and M/W/F classes together)

The mist finally stopped so they got to go outside for the horse ride (I remember Lily doing this...)

And coloring with chalk.  Doesn't he look so grown up in this picture?!?!

Lily's class had a field trip later in the morning that we all went to at a local park for their egg hunt.  Of course, it was cold and misty again and I didn't even bring my camera.  Oops.  But her class had to only find the eggs with their name on it.  It was fun!!
